GRACE SAN ANDRES
Grace San Andres is a Filipino jazz vocalist based in Southwestern Ontario, recognized for her warm, expressive vocals and modern approach to timeless music. Drawing inspiration from classic jazz, blues, and contemporary. Grace brings a fresh, sophisticated sound to both beloved standards and unexpected modern favourites.
Her signature style blends jazz standards, blues, oldies, and modern pop, reimagined through a traditional jazz lens. From intimate cocktail hours and elegant weddings to lively festivals, corporate events, and private functions, Grace’s performances are known for polished musicianship, effortless versatility, and connection.
Grace and her Quartet have performed throughout Southwestern Ontario at festivals and events including All That Worldly Jazz (2024), Belmont Village Bestival (2025), and the Stratford Filipino Festival (2026). A graduate of Mohawk College’s Applied Music Jazz Diploma Program, Grace graduated with honours and studied under accomplished Canadian jazz musicians including Sophia Perlman, Bob Hamper, Shannon Butcher, Pat Collins, and Bob Shields. Her musical development has been shaped by a deep appreciation and love for jazz and contemporary music today.
Grace leads The Grace San Andres Quartet, featuring vocals, guitar, upright bass, and drums. The group formed organically in 2018 when its members met while working as music teachers at Long & McQuade in Woodstock. What began as a single wedding booking quickly grew into a long-standing musical collaboration and one of Grace’s primary performing projects.
Today, Grace and her Quartet bring a refined yet approachable energy to every stage. Their repertoire moves seamlessly between timeless jazz, soulful blues, nostalgic oldies, and modern pop favourites—creating performances that feel both familiar and fresh.
